  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (for crust)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for crust)
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Combine flour, cinnamon, and salt; add to butter mixture to form the crust. Press into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake crust for 15 minutes until golden.
  4. Meanwhile, combine sliced apples, sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.
  5. For the streusel topping, mix oats, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  6. Spread apple filling over the baked crust and sprinkle streusel on top. Press gently.
  7. Bake for an additional 45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
