  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook until tender (4-5 minutes). Mix cornstarch and water in a bowl until smooth; stir into the apple mixture to thicken.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Separate and flatten biscuit dough into circles about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Place a tablespoon of cooled apple filling in the center of each circle and seal tightly.
  5. Dip each bomb in melted butter then roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
