  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 10 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Fontina cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning and sear until browned on all sides. Set aside.
  2. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese until melted.
  4. Combine rigatoni with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Fold in steak tips.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan and black pepper.
