  • 20 oz package refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage (chopped)
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions until tender.
  2. While cooking, slice the mushrooms and chop the sage.
  3. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chopped sage and cook until crispy.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until browned, about 5 minutes.
  5. Toss cooked tortellini into the skillet with remaining butter, parmesan cheese, and crispy sage. Stir gently until well-coated. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
