  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil for spraying

  1. Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour for about 2 minutes to create a roux.
  3. Gradually add milk while whisking; mix in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened (3–4 minutes).
