  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 23 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 12 tbsp freshly chopped parsley

Instructions

  2. Add sugar, flour, egg, salt, and softened butter to the yeast mixture; mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 15 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl; cover and let rise until doubled (about 90 minutes).
  5. Punch down the dough and shape into 12 equal balls; place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Cover and let rise again for 30-45 minutes until puffy.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush rolls with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Prepare garlic butter by sautéing garlic in melted butter; brush over warm rolls.
