  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 8×4-inch bread pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, and ginger.
  3. Combine granulated and brown sugars into the dry mixture.
