  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk and water to activate yeast; mix in flour, sugar, yeast, salt, softened butter, eggs, cocoa powder, red food coloring, and vanilla until you have a soft dough.
  2. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth; let rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for about 1-2 hours until doubled.
