  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup hot chili sauce (like sriracha)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 large tortillas or flatbreads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • ½ cucumber, sliced into matchsticks
  • Optional: Fresh cilantro or parsley leaves
  • Optional: sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together hot chili sauce, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water until smooth to prepare a slurry.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced chicken along with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and soy sauce; cook for about 6–8 minutes until browned.
  4. Lower heat and add the sauce mixture; simmer for 2–3 minutes. Stir in the cornstarch slurry until the sauce thickens.
  5. Prepare vegetables by slicing them as desired.
  6. Warm tortillas briefly in a pan or microwave.
  7. Assemble wraps by spreading mayo or yogurt-based sauce (if using), adding shredded lettuce/cabbage, veggies, and chicken.
  8. Roll tightly and serve immediately.
