  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • For the cinnamon swirl: 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup melted butter
  • For the cream cheese icing: 4 oz cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1–2 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined.
  4. For the cinnamon swirl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  5. Spread blondie batter into a baking dish; drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  7. For the icing, beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually mix in powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until creamy. Drizzle over cooled blondies before slicing.
