Ingredients

  • Yukon Gold potatoes (or red-skinned potatoes)
  • Heavy cream
  • Unsalted butter
  • Fresh rosemary (or thyme/sage)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • Grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle grated parmesan on the bottom.
  3. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, butter, herbs, salt, pepper, and garlic base over low heat until warmed. Stir in all but 1/4 cup of parmesan.
  4. Slice potatoes into thin rounds and layer them in the prepared dish.
  5. Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes, cover with foil, and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake for another 20 minutes until tender; broil for 4 minutes to achieve a golden top.
