  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup (100ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (110ml) milk
  • 1 3/4 cups (230g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (85g) pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugars, and oil until combined. Add eggs one at a time.
  3. Fold in pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and milk until just mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-80 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the glaze: In a bowl, whisk powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth; drizzle over cooled bread.
