  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1 1/4 cups pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In an electric mixer bowl, beat together butter and pumpkin puree until combined. Add sugar and mix well before incorporating eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients while alternating with milk until just blended.
  5. For the crumb topping, mix all ingredients in a medium bowl until they form small crumbs.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish and sprinkle half of the crumbs on top. Add remaining batter followed by the rest of the crumbs.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
