  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat until the butter melts.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the apple vinegar or chicken broth and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, capers, lemon zest, salt, and pepper; cook for another minute.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley if desired.
