  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Pita bread
  • Fresh vegetables (like cucumbers and tomatoes)
  • Optional toppings (like feta cheese or pickled onions)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all the spices (cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper).
  2. Add olive oil, yogurt, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and minced garlic to the spice mixture. Stir until well combined.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure they are well-coated. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high or oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook chicken until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), about 20-25 minutes.
